The My-Ma Research Book is currently in preparation.
This book recounts the three years of activity of the MyMa project. During this period, professional organisations from four European countries developed a working plan aimed to relaunch the use of the mask in contemporary performing arts production, while also reflecting on the nature of the – ancient or modern – myths that inspire today’s creative processes in theatre, circus, dance, and figure theatre.
150 pages of research in the field of theatre and performing arts, edited by qualified international experts. It will include information on all members of the My-Ma Network, a section devoted to the art of the mask, and another dedicated to the dramaturgy of myth.
At the conclusion of the activity plan funded by the European Union, the My-Ma Handbook will serve as the project’s calling card, enabling it to continue, expand internationally, and generate new initiatives. Below we present a preview of the titles and table of contents.
